About the role

AWA places high focus on owning their own system portfolio, and as such are looking to strengthen their resources regarding requirement analysis to both introduce new solutions, and further develop and update their existing systems.

You will be the unifying link between their business and users, translating the needs of the end users into requirements for AWAs internal and external developers. You will actively communicate with both end users and developers, and you will actively participate in the implementation process and the long-term development, while also ensuring good documentation and structure.

As part of AWAs IT-department, you will strengthen and complement the skills that are available today, in order to further develop their operations, systems and integrations, so that AWA is better equipped to respond faster to changes and address wishes from internal and external users. You will be based at their headquarters in Malmö, report directly to their CIO, and become part of a social team with a taste for fika and lively coffee discussions.

Specifically, your areas of responsibility will include:

Conduct requirements analysis, develop solution proposals, development, documentation, requirement specification to external suppliers and lead development projects
Further develop systems together with both internal and external developers, and also the internal end users
Actively and independently seek knowledge of AWA’s business operations, by using assets in the organization, and be able to independently seek knowledge in relevant technology areas needed for the development of applications and integrations.

  • A college or university degree within IT, although experience can compensate for education
  • +7 years’ experience with system development
  • Experience with requirement analysis
  • Experience with documentation and structured working
  • Strong technical competencies and enjoy working with others, glad to take initiative
  • Fluency in English
  • Experience with development in the areas in or related to SQL Server, .NET, C#,
  • MS Office (VBA or .NET), ASP.NET/Web API/JSON, or HTML5/CSS/JavaScript is an advantage.
