Team Lead – Hull & Initial Design

Working as an integral part of the Training & Product Support department the Team Lead will supervise, develop and provide guidance to team members within the team. The Team Lead will also contribute to team deliverables while retaining overall responsibility for the timely, high quality execution of team tasks.

The primary focus of the role is to guide and steer the team in their technical work from a position of representing and understanding the industry/end-user requirements. As a Team Lead, your accountabilities will include supervise, lead and develop the team in line with the AVEVA values and AVEVA policies.

The Team Lead is responsible for identifying learning and development needs of the team, carry out performance coaching, set objectives and provide feedback to team members as well as suggest training interventions. Furthermore, the Team Lead provides mentoring, guidance and challenging objectives to AVEVA Graduates during rotations within the EDS TPS Teams.

Travel within Sweden and abroad will form part of the overall scope of work.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience within the engineering industry or working with AVEVA products
  • Experience and knowledge of engineering & design, engineering practices and deliverables within the Process Industries
  • Previous experience of providing direction and leadership to others
  • Previous experience of performance management, in particular in planning, meeting goals and objectives, managing activities and tasks
