Sales Engineer Didactic

Festo is looking for a Sales Engineer to join their Didactic division and drive technical sales of advanced learning solutions within automation and industrial technology.

In this role, you will work closely with customers across the education sector and industry, helping them design and implement modern learning environments that reflect real-world industrial technologies.

About the role

As a Sales Engineer, you will work with project-based sales of technical training solutions, combining advisory, technical understanding, and commercial responsibility.

You will engage with customers such as technical schools, universities, and industrial companies, helping them identify needs and design complete training setups tailored to their requirements and budgets.

The role is highly customer-oriented and involves regular travel, as well as close collaboration with colleagues across the Nordic sales organization.

Your responsibilities

  • In this role, you will
  • Drive sales activities and develop customer relationships within the education sector and industry
  • Sell complete training systems, automation labs, and digital learning platforms
  • Conduct workshops and technical presentations for customers
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop existing accounts
  • Collaborate with customers on designing and implementing learning environments
  • Participate in events and industry activities
  • Manage your own sales pipeline and budget

Your profile

You have a technical background and an interest in combining technology with customer interaction.

Ideally, you have

  • A technical education within automation, electrical engineering, or similar
  • A broad understanding of industrial systems and automation
  • Experience with project coordination or longer sales processes
  • Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English
  • A structured and proactive approach to your work

Experience in technical sales is an advantage but not a requirement.

Your personality

You are proactive, independent, and comfortable taking ownership of your work.

At the same time, you are a strong communicator who can translate technical solutions into clear business value for customers. You enjoy building long-term relationships and thrive in a role with a high degree of freedom and responsibility.
