Frederiksberg Municipality / Heltid
Do you enjoy managing and developing technical building installations across a large and varied property portfolio? We are looking for an operations consultant for technical installations in Frederiksberg Municipality’s Property Service and Operations Unit.
The position of Operations Consultant for Technical Installations
You will become part of the Operations Team, which plays a crucial role in managing and servicing the municipality’s property portfolio, focusing on planning, coordinating, and overseeing both large and small projects.
In the role of Technical Operations Consultant, you will be responsible for managing the municipality’s many technical systems, including ventilation, potable water, and heating installations. You will also contribute to setting the requirements for technical installations when the project unit undertakes new constructions or renovations. Your role will be to act as an internal advisor to the project managers, representing operational interests and ensuring the selection of the right technical solutions in collaboration with consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
The department is a modern Facilities Management organization, constantly evolving with a flexible work environment where individuals have significant autonomy in how they handle both minor operational tasks and larger projects. The tasks vary greatly, so you will be challenged with a wide range of professional skills.
As an Operations Consultant, your tasks will include:

- Contributing to setting the requirements for technical installations when the project unit undertakes new constructions or renovations.
- Ensuring that your installation projects are completed with the agreed quality, within the given timeframe and budget, in close coordination with consultants, contractors, and users.
- Conducting daily monitoring and troubleshooting of technical systems, including through our extensive Building Management System (BMS).
You will be part of a team of six employees who collaborate on managing technical installations. In this capacity, you will work closely with internal departments and users.
The unit is also working towards a concrete goal of increasing digitalization in handling the team’s tasks, with a strong focus on becoming more data-driven when working to create holistic and sustainable solutions for individual projects.
It is expected that you have a background in technical installations, such as an engineer, marine engineer, or a similar field, and have a solid theoretical foundation in water, heating, ventilation, and BMS, which you can apply to the properties.
To be successful in this role, it is expected that you:
- Have a broad interdisciplinary understanding of the technical installation disciplines under the HVAC fields.
- Have experience in managing large and small installation projects (0-15 million DKK).
- Can define requirements in projects and have experience with consultant tenders and simple tender materials.
- Can perform technical reviews and troubleshooting on heating and ventilation systems.
- Can assess the condition and quality of installations for updating the FM database.
- Knowledge of Molio (BIPS) specification tools and/or experience with commissioning (Cx) is a plus.
- Are positive, approachable, and eager to be part of a team.
- Are a good communicator, both in writing and speaking, and can communicate with various stakeholders at different levels.
